About Confidence Camp
Owned and run by Debs Bamford, Confidence Camp offers alternative training methods to help parents, teenagers and educators overcome specific challenges such as stress, depression, behavioural issues and bullying. Drawing on her extensive experience in NLP, coaching, Time Line Therapy® and hypnosis, Debs works with her customers to increase their emotional resilience and, ultimately, their confidence.
Background
Debs originally had a Wix website which she built and maintained herself. As her business grew, she found herself increasingly short of time and decided to look into other options for managing the site. Debs sourced quotes for third party providers to update the Wix site on her behalf – and found that this was even more expensive than having a new site built from scratch!
Having decided on a brand new site, Debs found it very difficult to find a provider who could give her the services she wanted at a realistic price – despite her requirements being relatively simple.
‘I just wanted a site I could update myself quickly and easily so I can stay in control of the content, and I also wanted control over the design,’ says Debs. ‘You wouldn’t believe how hard it was to find a web developer who was willing to provide this! I was literally searching for years until I found someone who could help. Luckily, I met Phil Revill from it’seeze Web Design Nottingham at a networking event in November 2018. The Development Process
Debs had very clear ideas of how she wanted her new website to look and function. ‘I wanted the design to be fun and interactive, bringing the idea of an actual “camp” over clearly whilst still looking professional. it’seeze Web Design Nottingham delivered exactly what I asked for! I absolutely love the design, especially the attention to detail like the moving campervan and flickering fire, and the use of signpost icons for the navigation menu.’
As a business that deals with children and other vulnerable groups, safety, security and Data Protection were paramount considerations when building the Confidence Camp website. Extra layers of security were therefore built in during the development phase. ‘I’m not a technical person,’ says Debs. ‘So I simply put my IT Consultant in touch with it’seeze Web Design Nottingham so he could explain my requirements. They were quite happy to work with him to make sure the site had the right security features and functionality in place.’
Despite the relative complexity of her brief, Debs found the design and development process to be fast and simple, with the new site ready to go live just a few weeks after her first meeting with Phil. As Debs wrote the content herself, there were no delays to completing the site once the page designs were approved.

The Results
Thanks to it’seeze Nottingham, Debs now has the perfect website to showcase her services to educators, parents, and teenagers alike. With an attractive “cartoon camp” design theme, the site looks great and is easy to navigate. Just as importantly, it will be quick and easy for Debs to add new page content and blog posts herself going forward.
‘It’s easily the most professional website I’ve had to date,’ she says. ‘I’ve had some fantastic feedback on the design, including comments from people I don’t even know! The site is performing well on a practical level, too, as I’m already getting online enquiries. There have been one or two minor technical issues, but these have been ironed out.
